Dawn
The poet prays for a beak

but happy to see the sun.
Frank Eannarino has an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His poems have appeared in Agni Online, American Literary Reveiw, Denver Quarterly, Exquisite Corpse, North American Review, and others. He teaches at Morton College and Triton College in the Chicago area.
