Title: Hahn and Pollock
Post by: Al Facinha on October 15, 2007, 01:23:42 PM
I have just read (apologizing for the delay) S.C.Hahn's prose poems and re-read (without any enthusiasm)  Estil Pollock's Ex Cathedra. Are they not exactly the same sort of "poetry"? I sense an obsession for foraging into the treasures of language, to find and assemble words for the fun of it only - and I don't think even they mean fun - Oh my! What a clever poet this clever poet must be, to know so many words...
At least, Hahn's first piece shows some sense of humour.
But it takes a poet to write a poem.
Thank you.
